- Â 1Â large egg
-  3 tbsp almond flour
-  1 tbsp coconut flour
-  1 tbsp soft butter
-  1 tbsp avocado oil
-  ¼ tsp baking powder
- Â pinch of salt
Gravy Ingredients
- 4 oz breakfast sausage
-  3 oz cream cheese, softened
-  ⅓ cup half and half
- Â salt and pepper, to taste
- Â Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Directions
- Using a fork, thoroughly combine all ingredients in a microwave-safe mug until the mixture is smooth. Using the back of a spoon, smooth out the top into an even surface.
- Microwave for one minute (based on your microwave, you may have to slightly alter the time and experiment with high versus medium-high temperatures).
- Using a potholder or thick cloth, remove the hot mug from the microwave. Cover with a plate and turn upside down, allowing the biscuit to slide out of the coffee cup. Slice into four even pieces and set aside.
Gravy Directions
- In a small saucepan over medium heat, brown the sausage while breaking into smaller chunks with a spatula.
- Add the cream cheese and combine until blended.
- Add the half and half and stir until thoroughly incorporated.

- Pour the gravy over the biscuits and serve warm. Garnish with parsley, if desired.
Traditional biscuits and gravy are a carb-heavy indulgence. Standard versions rely on white flour, milk, and often sugar—none of which align with a ketogenic eating plan. With Keto Biscuits and Gravy, however, you’ll enjoy all the flavor without the crash. The biscuits are typically made from low-carb flours like almond flour, which provides healthy fats and fiber. Some recipes also incorporate coconut flour for added texture and balance.
The gravy, traditionally made with flour and milk, gets a keto upgrade by using heavy cream, butter, and sausage drippings thickened with a low-carb option like xanthan gum or cream cheese. The result? A thick, savory, protein-rich gravy that pairs perfectly with the soft, buttery biscuits.
Not only is this version low in carbohydrates, but it’s also high in fat and protein—ideal macros for anyone following a ketogenic diet. It keeps you fuller longer and satisfies those savory breakfast cravings without derailing your progress.
If you’ve been missing the creamy, comforting goodness of biscuits and gravy on your keto journey, it’s time to bring this classic back to your table. With a few smart swaps and the right ingredients, Keto Biscuits and Gravy deliver all the flavor without the carbs. Whether you’re new to keto or a seasoned low-carb pro, this dish is bound to become a regular in your meal rotation.
